Gisborne

Gisborne is one of the earliest town's in the world to greet the sun each morning. Its' Millennium Wall, situated in the Centennial Marine Parade on the foreshore of Waikanae Beach, was created to welcome the first sunrise of the new millennium in the year 2000. 

Gisborne is located at the north end of Poverty Bay in northeastern New Zealand. It offers a wide range of adventure activities, cycling and cultural experiences as well as the internationally acclaimed Rhythm and Vines Festival.
